Arrival: Schiphol Airport – hotel Ibis Budget Amsterdam City South

The route from Schiphol Airport to Prof. J.H. Bavincklaan 1, can be done by public transport and will take approximately 35 minutes. Public transport is generally acknowledged to be the fastest, safest and most enjoyable form of transport in and around Amsterdam. It also provides an opportunity to see some of the city and the surrounding countryside.

The first  part of the route, from Schiphol Airport to Amsterdam Zuid, is done by train and will take approximately seven minutes. Amsterdam Zuid is the first stop after Schiphol airport, this connection is available from 06:31 until 01:27. The same conditions apply to the way back, from Amsterdam Zuid to Schiphol.

The second part of the route, from Bus/Tramhalte Amsterdam Zuid til Biesbosch, is done by tram. The journey will take approximately ten minutes and travellers have to get off at the sixth stop, Bus/Tramhalte Biesbosch. The connection is available from 05:41 until 00:13. The same conditions apply to the way back, from Bus/Tramhalte Biesbosch to Amsterdam Zuid.

The third and final part of the journey is a 400m walk from the exit of Bus/Tramhalte Biesbosch to the entrance Hotel Ibis Budget Amsterdam City South. This will take about five minutes.

 

Arrival: Amsterdam Central Station – hotel Ibis Budget Amsterdam City South

The route from Amsterdam Central Station to Prof. J.H. Bavincklaan 1, can be done by public transport and will take approximately 35 minutes. Public transport is generally acknowledged to be the fastest, safest and most enjoyable form of transport in and around Amsterdam. It also provides an opportunity to see some of the city.

The first part of the route, from Amsterdam Central Station to Amsterdam Zuid, is taken by subway and will take approximately 10 minutes. Take Metro 52 in the direction Station Zuid and get off at the last stop, Amsterdam Zuid. This route is available from 06:30 until 00:13. The same conditions apply to the way back, from Amsterdam Zuid to Amsterdam Central Station.

The second part of the route, from Bus/Tramhalte Amsterdam Zuid til Biesbosch, is done by tram. The journey will take approximately ten minutes and travellers have to get off at the sixth stop, Bus/Tramhalte Biesbosch. The connection is available from 05:41 until 00:13. Transport during the week: Hotel Ibis Budget Amsterdam City South to Jaap Eden Ice Rink

On competition or training days, transport of athletes and staff from and to the Jaap Eden Ice Rink will be done by bus. The journey will take 15-30 minutes, depending on traffic.

The Jaap Eden Ice Rink is also accessible by public transport. The journey will take 45-60 minutes, depending on departure time. More information on public transport in and around Amsterdam will be provided at arrival or earlier on request.
